Job Opportunity

SEND Teaching Assistant Position

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism and behavioral challenges, in a secondary school in Islington.

The successful applicant will work closely with the teaching staff to help pupils blossom academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with special educational needs in a secondary school setting
  • Working closely with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Assisting pupils with Autism and behavioral challenges to access the curriculum and participate in class activities

Requirements:

  • Experience working with pupils with special educational needs
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
