Position Overview

We are seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to enhance our dedicated team within OCS Group.

This role involves assisting managers with low to medium risk Employee Relations matters, delivering comprehensive advice throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Duties:

  • Manage a portfolio of low-risk Employee Relations cases, providing guidance to managers and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Proactively oversee and escalate any outstanding cases.
  • Provide managers with essential templates and guidance documents.
  • Coach managers in handling Employee Relations issues effectively.
  • Assist managers with Occupational Health referrals, ensuring all necessary inquiries are made.
  • Support managers in drafting correspondence, including invitations and outcome letters.
  • Collaborate with Employee Relations Partners and HR Business Partners to generate management information reports, analyze trends, and compile data.
  • Maintain the accuracy and currency of the case management system.
  • Offer immediate support to managers via phone for urgent queries.
  • Assist the team with administrative tasks and correspondence.
  • Provide coverage for colleagues in various departments as needed.

General Duties:

  • Maintain a clear distinction between personal interests and the interests of OCS Group.
  • Exercise sound judgment and diligence in all responsibilities.
  • Act in good faith to promote the long-term success of the organization.
  • Adhere to and advocate for OCS Group's policies on equality, data protection, and health and safety.

Candidate Profile:

  • Eligibility: Must possess the right to work in the UK.
  • Essential Qualifications:
    • CIPD Level 3 or in progress.
    • Experience in HR Administration or a similar Employee Relations role.
    • Customer service experience, preferably in phone and email communication.
    • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Desirable Qualifications:
    • CIPD Level 5 or in progress.
    • Experience in a shared service HR environment.
    • Familiarity with Case Management Tools.
