About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Services Community Occupational Therapy Team in East Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support people to live more independent lives, contributing to a wide range of service areas including equipment and adaptations, moving and handling with a focus on proportionate care, and specialist seating.
  • Undertake supervision and line management of junior staff, whilst balancing the demands of a complex caseload.
  • Operate at a high level of autonomy and decision making, as well as taking responsibility for and leading on specific projects.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) to be appointed as an Occupational Therapist or have applied to register with the HCPC.
  • A car for use in connection with the duties of this post and you must be insured for business use. However, we may consider you if you cannot drive because of a disability.
