About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Edgware Kidney Care Centre Dialysis Unit. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the delivery of individualized patient care, ensuring the highest standards of safety and dignity.
  • Perform a range of manual and clerical duties, including administrative tasks and data entry.
  • Support registered nurses in the provision of a safe and caring environment, promoting patient well-being and comfort.
  • Practice in accordance with Trust standards and statutory requirements, operating within the boundaries of the role and assessed competencies.
  • Develop your skills and knowledge through further training and development opportunities.
  • Act as a role model for student nurses and colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Can demonstrate a strong ability to meet the Trust Values.
  • Is willing to develop and work towards a new diploma Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Has demonstrable literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Has previous experience of team work and customer care.
  • Can provide individualized care and empathy, with good organizational skills and effective communication.
  • Can work in a team, demonstrating an awareness of confidentiality, privacy, and dignity.
