Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Fir Tree Lodge in Tadley, Hampshire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning and physical disabilities, sight loss, and complex health conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct support to individuals with complex needs, enabling them to participate in daily activities and engage in their interests.
- Assist with personal care, laundry, meal preparation, medication administration, and other daily tasks.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the individuals we support, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual support plans, ensuring person-centered care and promoting independence.
- Work collaboratively with other agencies, parents, carers, and services to ensure seamless care and support.
- Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Hold a UK driving license (if applicable).
- Be able to work on a shift rota basis, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Have a calm, patient, and resilient approach to working with individuals with complex needs.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
