Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our provision for students with Special Educational Needs as the Head of Learning Support / SENCo at Ratcliffe College.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of strategies to support students with specific learning difficulties.
- Collaborate with teachers to provide specialist knowledge and expertise in teaching students with SEN.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations regarding access arrangements for public examinations.
- Teach small groups of students within the Senior School.
Requirements:
- Specialist qualification, such as the Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma for Teachers of Pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties.
- Experience of working with students with a range of specific learning difficulties.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
