Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a technical background, seeking a challenging opportunity where your expertise is valued?
We are looking for a Project Manager to play a key role within an Integrated Project team (IPT) at Leonardo, a global leader in the design, manufacture, and support of helicopters.
This is a hybrid role, located in a rural setting, and classified as a level 6 on our Salary & Career Progression Framework.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and oversee the project team with authority from the Programme Manager or Sponsor on a daily basis, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality project delivery.
- Act as a liaison between the project and functional business areas to achieve the overall project objectives.
- Foster effective communication and motivation across functional business areas to drive change.
- Efficiently coordinate the project and its interdependencies within the overall Programme or as an individual small project, handling any arising risks and issues with the support of the Programme Management Office.
- Ensure that all activities adhere to LH policies and processes.
- Supervise the contract life cycle specific to the accountable project.
- Oversee and generate required deliverables, proactively tracking progress, resolving issues, and taking corrective actions to ensure quality and schedule adherence within budget.
- Strategize, design, and monitor the project, creating necessary project plans as needed.
- Identify and secure necessary support and advice for project management, planning, and control.
