Job Description:

We are seeking a proficient professional to lead the planning and execution of station enhancement projects across multiple sites. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the transition of these stations through various phases, ensuring successful implementation and full operational readiness.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience with London Underground/Overground systems and demonstrate a thorough understanding of their operational standards. Prior involvement in station upgrades aimed at improving capacity and facilitating step-free access is essential. Effective collaboration with our supply chain and LU/LO partners to deliver Mechanical, Electrical & Telecom works during the project lifecycle is a critical component of this role.

This position is well-suited for a driven individual who excels in a dynamic and supportive team atmosphere. Experience in the rail civil engineering sector, particularly from a main contractor perspective, is vital.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Telecom systems within LU/LO environments
  • Degree or HNC/HND in a relevant technical field
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior team members
  • Understanding of customer service principles and related processes
  • Knowledge of compliance with legislation, including rail industry standards, health and safety regulations, and environmental considerations
  • Awareness of commercial factors influencing project outcomes
  • Experience in phased installation, testing, and commissioning of systems
  • Excellent communication abilities
