Electrical Project Coordinator Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Coordinator to join our team at Morgan Sindall Infrastructure.

As an Electrical Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the MEICA construction team, identifying and implementing a comprehensive coordination strategy throughout multiple project phases.

Your expertise in electrical engineering/installation will be instrumental in building an operable and maintainable facility to meet the requirements of the new facilities' expected operational lifetime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to all aspects of project delivery, including design phases, works testing phases, onsite testing, and handover.
  • Coordinate the installation of M&E scope with the supply chain and civil/fit-out trades in accordance with CDM.
  • Undertake coordination activities in line with management system, ensuring adherence to nuclear site license conditions.
  • Champion a proactive and balanced approach to safety, encompassing nuclear, radiological, conventional, and environmental safety measures, optimising safety during project delivery.
  • Collaborate and interface with internal and external stakeholders, as well as commissioning experts across various project phases.
Requirements:
  • Recognised apprenticeship in Electrical discipline.
  • HNC/ONC/Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline, with the ability to present qualification certification.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to various locations, including those beyond Sellafield Site in West Cumbria, the wider UK, and occasionally overseas, to support project delivery demands.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical installation and testing.
  • Hold current valid CSCS affiliated card aligned to role.
