Job Title: Rail Infrastructure Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Rail Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team at Morgan Sindall Infrastructure. As a key member of our rail business unit, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of rail infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile rail projects, collaborating with our supply chain partners and clients to deliver complex infrastructure upgrades. You will be responsible for leading project teams, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with rail industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of rail infrastructure projects, including station upgrades, electrification, and signalling works
  • Lead project teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Ensure compliance with rail industry standards, regulations, and company policies
  • Collaborate with clients, supply chain partners, and stakeholders to deliver projects to the highest quality standards
Requirements
  • Proven experience in rail infrastructure project management, preferably with a main contractor background
  • Strong technical knowledge of rail infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, and telecoms systems
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage project teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, supply chain partners, and stakeholders to deliver projects to the highest quality standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex project delivery
