Job Summary:

Voyage Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Service Manager to join our team. As a Deputy Service Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Service Manager in the day-to-day operations of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Service Manager in the management of staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of service plans, ensuring that they are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures, ensuring that they are up-to-date and compliant with relevant legislation.
  • Provide support and guidance to staff, including coaching and mentoring, to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality services.
  • Assist in the management of budgets, including financial planning and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a management or leadership role, preferably in a healthcare or social care setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, stakeholders, and service users.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
