Deputy Service Manager

At Voyage Care, we're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Service Manager to join our team in Swindon. As a key member of our management team, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of the people we support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement person-centred support plans to promote independence and well-being
  • Conduct care needs assessments and recruit new colleagues to support our service users
  • Complete supervisions, appraisals, and medication audits to ensure high-quality care
  • Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of our service
  • Participate in the on-call rota to provide 24/7 support to our service users

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a care management role and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex needs, and challenging behaviours
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team
