Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Manage and coordinate the activities of our concrete plant, including batching, mixing, and delivery of concrete products.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality, safety, and environmental sustainability.
  • Health and Safety: Implement and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the ready mix or aggregates industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of concrete production processes, health and safety regulations, and environmental sustainability practices.
  • Certifications: IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent, with a willingness to obtain additional certifications as required.
