Director of Ministry

St Nic's, Nottingham is seeking a visionary leader to oversee the church's mission and ministry, including preaching, evangelism, and discipleship programmes. This is a full-time role with a fixed term of 3 years, funded by the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the church's mission and ministry, including preaching, evangelism, and discipleship programmes.
  • Assume day-to-day oversight of St Nic's, its excellent staff team, lay leaders, and volunteers.
  • Work closely with the Rector in strategic leadership and represent St Nic's in the new partnership.
Requirements:
  • Substantial ordained ministry experience.
  • Collaborative and empowering style of ministry.
  • Excellent communication skills, including preaching.
  • Mission-oriented, generously evangelical, charismatic, kingdom-focused, and committed to social justice.
  • Lively and robust spiritual life rooted in prayer and engagement with scripture.
  • Commitment to the diocesan vision and church growth.
