Job Title: Consultant in Paediatrics

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Paediatrics to join our team at the Jenny Lind Children's Hospital. The successful candidate will have expertise and interest in paediatric Obesity and will provide high-quality care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:8 on-call to the acute paediatric service, including support for inpatient services and outpatient paediatric activity.
  • Support the complications of excess weight (CEW) service, working within a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and experience.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.
Requirements:
  • Full GMC with licence to practice.
  • MRCPCH or equivalent qualification.
  • Higher degree such as MD, MSc, or PhD.
  • Experience of working in a paediatric setting, with a strong understanding of child health and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
