About the Role

A highly reputable and well-established domiciliary care company, part of the AYG Group, is seeking a dedicated and professional Care Coordinator to join their dynamic team.

This role is crucial in managing the day-to-day care of clients, creating a supportive environment, maintaining the highest standards of care, and ensuring compliance with Fundamental Care Standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily management of assigned clients, ensuring their needs are met and care is tailored to individual requirements.
  • Maintain strong communication and relationships with clients and their families, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Investigate complaints and implement appropriate solutions, ensuring client satisfaction and trust.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies, such as the CQC, during inspections to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a high level of care.
  • Keep all client documentation, including care plans and risk assessments, current and accurate, reflecting any changes or updates.
  • Manage carer placements and contracts effectively, ensuring a high-quality care workforce.
  • Conduct regular spot checks and update the care planning system as needed, maintaining a high level of care and compliance.
  • Handle accident and incident reports with appropriate follow-up, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients.
  • Regularly communicate with carers and clients to ensure the delivery of high-quality care, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
Requirements
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
  • Confident driver with a valid license.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage emails and maintain an organized filing system.
  • Experience in liaising with professional bodies and inspectors, ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining a high level of care.
