Job Description

Job Purpose

To coordinate and schedule top-tier care services for our clients, ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently delivered.

The Role

* Develop and manage efficient and effective schedules tailored to the needs of our clients and Care Professionals.

* Prepare schedules with consideration for travel time, holidays, training sessions, and last-minute changes.

* Remain adaptable to schedule changes, liaising seamlessly with relevant team members.

* Collaborate with the client services team to match Care Professionals to new clients and arrange introductions.

* Ensure client schedules align with their needs, striving to maintain consistency with the same Care Professional and time slots each week.

* Foster strong, positive relationships with both clients and Care Professionals to enhance their experiences.

* Act as a key contact for families and clients, assisting in managing their care and support.

* Input new clients into the scheduling system, including funding, care plans, and support schedules.

* Work closely with the recruitment team to maintain adequate current and future staffing levels.

* Monitor capacity within your area to support recruitment and onboarding efforts.

* Partner with the Care Team to ensure that new and existing care packages are efficiently resourced and scheduled.

* Maintain and update all client and Care Professional details within the electronic scheduling system.

* Undertake any other duties necessary for the smooth operation of the business.

* Ensure full compliance with Joneshouse Recruitment’s Equality, Diversity, and Equal Opportunities Policy in both employment and service delivery.

Essential Criteria

* Proven experience in a scheduling role, ideally within home care or a related field such as logistics.

* Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM software, along with the ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies.

* Resilient, positive attitude with outstanding communication skills.

* Exceptional organisational and prioritisation abilities, capable of working calmly and accurately under pressure.

* Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build rapport quickly.

* Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

* Logical, analytical thinker with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
