About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Care Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Glenholme Healthcare Ltd. As a Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to lead fulfilling and independent lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering Person-Centred Care: Ensure the physical, emotional, and social needs of individuals with learning disabilities are met.
  • Assisting with Daily Living Activities: Support individuals with personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
  • Promoting Independence: Empower individuals to develop essential life skills and access educational, vocational, and recreational activities within the community.
  • Building Relationships: Foster strong relationships with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Maintaining Accurate Records: Keep up-to-date records of care plans and progress reports.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Compassionate Nature: A compassionate and patient nature, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Passion for Care: A genuine passion for improving the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.
Benefits and Perks:
  • Salary Increases: Salary increases to £11.65 once you have completed our paid-for-care certificate and £11.80 on completion of a paid-for Level 2-3 NVQ qualification.
  • Compensation: Compensation of up to £200 for completing your e-learning before you start.
