About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef and Operations Manager to join our team at The Wrekin Housing Group. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, preparing quality food, and ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management
  • Prepare quality food that is well-presented, full of flavor, balanced, and nutritional
  • Train new kitchen employees on standards and regulations
  • Monitor the kitchen area to ensure sanitation standards are maintained
  • Have a friendly approach towards visitors and residents
Requirements
  • Experience of managing staff and kitchen operations
  • NVQ Level 3 in Catering or equivalent
  • Excellent people skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to create great food and think creatively
  • Open to new ideas and willing to learn
