About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Chef De Partie to join our team in a lovely dining pub with rooms. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes to the highest standards.
  • Lead from the front in overseeing the daily running of service, ensuring dishes are produced in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and dishes.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef De Partie in a fresh food restaurant or dining pub.
  • Proven ability to handle running a busy service, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to cover shifts as required, including evenings and weekends.
  • Means of transport to the rural location is essential.
