The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Fabrication Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead and inspire a talented group of carpenters, CAD technicians, production managers, and subcontractors to create exceptional event and exhibition builds.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the fabrication team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers to develop comprehensive build schedules, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
  • Oversee daily production meetings, driving efficiency and accountability across all projects.
  • Develop innovative fabrication solutions, leveraging your expertise in CAD, CNC, Octanorm systems, carpentry, joinery, electrical LED lighting, and AV technologies.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols, creating a secure and productive work environment.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering their professional growth and contributing to the overall success of the department.

Your Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading fabrication teams in the event or exhibition industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of CAD software, CNC machining, and Octanorm systems.
  • Expertise in carpentry, joinery, electrical LED lighting, and AV technologies.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to industry best practices.
