Procurement Specialist
Location: London
Contract: 12-Month Renewable

We are looking for a skilled Procurement Specialist to manage an onshore construction initiative. This position emphasizes the preparation and negotiation of significant packages for Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) of onshore projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, assess, and negotiate substantial subcontracts and purchase orders for onshore EPCI projects.
  • Assist the Commercial department by sourcing quotes and issuing preliminary agreements.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders.
  • Evaluate variation order requests from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring price integrity and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate with team members on procurement requests and keep them informed about developments related to managed packages.
  • Ensure adherence to governmental regulations, company policies, and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Department Manager.
Requirements:
  • At least 10 years of experience in procurement.
  • Demonstrated expertise in negotiating high-value subcontracts and purchase orders within the oil & gas industry.
  • Proficient in SAP for processing subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Membership in a Purchasing Institute is preferred but not mandatory.
