About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Neuro Rehabilitation team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients with complex neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and neurodegenerative diseases.
  • Provide occupational therapy interventions to promote independence, mobility, and functional ability in patients with neurological conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and discharge planning for patients.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy services and policies within the trust.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Postgraduate training or experience in neurology or stroke rehabilitation is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including participation in weekend rotas and occasional travel to other hospital sites.
