Job Title: Specialist Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our team at a leading healthcare provider in the Nottingham area.

Job Summary:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and dedicated Occupational Therapist to work with our inpatient Stroke and Neuro Team. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with neurological conditions, including stroke.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients with neurological conditions, including stroke.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient independence and functional ability.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote patient safety and prevent falls.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Previous experience working in a hospital setting, preferably with a neurological team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
