We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Consultant to join our team at King's College Hospital. As a key member of our dental department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients and leading a team of dental professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Clinical Leadership: Lead a team of dental professionals to provide high-quality care to patients.
- Develop and Implement Clinical Services: Develop and implement clinical services to meet the needs of patients and the dental department.
- Conduct Clinical Research: Conduct clinical research to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of restorative dentistry.
- Teach and Mentor: Teach and mentor dental students and junior dental professionals to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Manage and Develop Staff: Manage and develop a team of dental professionals to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
- Qualifications: Fellowship in Dental Surgery or Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery or equivalent Masters qualification in a relevant clinical discipline.
- Registration: Full registration with the United Kingdom General Dental Council (GDC).
- Experience: Successful completion of an SAC approved five-year minimum training programme in Restorative Dentistry, or within six months of completion, or equivalent.
