Role Overview:

As a Materials Coordinator, you will play an essential role in our Supply Chain operations, ensuring the prompt acquisition of all necessary aircraft components and services. Your responsibilities will include managing the flow of materials, parts, and services among Planning, Customer, and Engineering teams to fulfill project demands. This position requires a proactive approach to managing supply chain tasks and effective communication with customers to ensure their requirements are met accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Oversight: Manage and supervise all stock requests utilizing PROMRO, ensuring timely processing of all requests.
  • Purchasing: Execute procurement activities and issue purchase orders, focusing on cost efficiency and timely delivery.
  • Client Coordination: Regularly engage with clients to understand and address their material needs, maintaining an up-to-date record of materials required for each project.
  • Reporting Duties: Prepare comprehensive handover briefs between shifts and generate supply chain reports as necessary.
  • Logistical Assistance: Provide support in logistics and stand in for Material Controllers at various locations as required.
  • Customer Communication: Ensure a seamless flow of information between clients and internal teams, representing STS with the utmost professionalism.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field within the aviation industry.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
  • Experience with PROMRO or similar inventory management systems is advantageous.
