About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Installation Manager to join our team at Wood, a global leader in consulting and engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational and technical integrity of our Normally Unattended Installations (NUI) assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure overall approval for final approach of the installation and subsequent Motion Compensated Gangway (MCG) connection, confirming that all pre-visit checklist requirements have been met.
  • Accountable for the operational and technical integrity of the NUI, applying all applicable procedures from the moment of final approach and subsequent MCG connection.
  • Responsible for maintaining order and discipline on the manned NUI and ensuring compliance with the Installation safety case.
  • Comply with work instructions, operate the Safe Systems of Work, and provide operational supervision to all work activities on the NUI.
  • Fulfill the Permit-Vision role of Permit Verifier/Authoriser as outlined in the Permit to Work Manual.
  • Perform all operational activities on the installation, including controlling the isolation process, and ensure the protection of people, environment, asset, and reputation during all work activities.
  • Responsible for the preparation, safe execution, and close-out of all operational activities and aspects on the NUI in accordance with the management system requirements.
  • Confirm SCE deviations are understood, and mitigations as specified on the UK Daily Activity Status Sheet (DASS) / NL Platform Statuslijst are in place and will be complied with for the scheduled visit.
  • Accountable for compliance with the manning and de-manning procedures and checklists, including associated TEMPSC and heli deck checklists applicable to the NUI.
  • Responsible for updating and reviewing Operational Work Instructions (WI's) and TIER1 documents applicable for the NUI Installation.
