About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Creative Support. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of mental health support workers in a supported living service in Hinckley.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of mental health support workers to deliver high-quality support to service users.
  • Assess and plan individualized support plans to promote independence, tenancy sustainment, and positive risk management.
  • Work collaboratively with service users, their families, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff, service users, and partner agencies.
  • Ensure that the service is delivered in accordance with assessed needs, contract requirements, and quality standards.
Requirements
  • At least two years of relevant experience in a mental health service or supported accommodation setting.
  • Professional mental health or social care qualification or a relevant degree (such as psychology).
  • Excellent assessment, support planning, and report writing skills.
  • Ability to motivate staff and promote effective teamwork.
  • Warm and emotionally intelligent with the ability to build positive, trusting relationships with service users, their families, and partner agencies.
