About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Creative Support Ltd. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of mental health support workers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our service users.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health, with experience of working with individuals with complex needs. You will be a natural leader, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with service users, their families, and partner agencies.

You will be responsible for assessing the needs of service users, developing and implementing individual support plans, and ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with assessed needs, contract requirements, and quality standards.

The role will also involve mentoring and supervising staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, and contributing to the development of the service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of mental health support workers
  • Assess the needs of service users and develop individual support plans
  • Ensure services are delivered in accordance with assessed needs, contract requirements, and quality standards
  • Mentor and supervise staff
  • Contribute to the development of the service
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background in mental health, with experience of working with individuals with complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of leading and managing a team
  • Ability to build strong relationships with service users, their families, and partner agencies
  • Knowledge of mental health legislation and policies
