Job Title: Stores Coordinator

Knauf UK & Ireland, a leading manufacturer of lightweight building materials, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Coordinator to join their Engineering team in Sittingbourne, Kent. This fixed-term contract, lasting 9 to 15 months, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and control sufficient stock of all spares, ensuring timely receipt and administration of Purchase Requisitions and Orders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely SAP stock accuracy in relation to Engineering Inventory, maintaining Engineering Stores security at all times.
  • Generate periodic reports related to stores/stock activity, including P.I stock counts, and review designated stock items held in sufficient quantities as highlighted by the SAP-MM Material Master (MRP).
  • Check inbound deliveries for order compliance, raise corrective actions as needed, and ensure goods-in deliveries are checked, placed in the correct bin, and receipted promptly.
  • Liaise with engineering promptly regarding stores issues, actively participating in resolution, and continuously improve the stores function to maintain and exceed performance.
  • Develop effective relationships with the engineering team, suppliers, and the Immingham Stores Coordinator to establish and maintain best practice in Knauf Stores management.
  • Provide a prompt and efficient service to stores customers, ensuring accurate stock control and effective relationships with suppliers to ensure best price and delivery supporting cost control.
Requirements:
  • Experience within an FMCG or engineering environment.
  • Computer literacy within SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to monitor and manage stock movements in line with Critical Spares Analysis.
  • Accredited IOSH.
