What You'll Do

You'll work with families to identify and address the critical issues impacting their relationships and lives. This may involve risk screening and assessment, preparation for family dispute resolution, and mediating joint sessions using a range of specialized approaches.

The Details
  • Permanent full-time opportunity based at Penrith
  • $44-49 p/h + super + leave loading + salary packaging benefits
  • Salary Benefits - You can package up to $15,900 pa of your pre-tax salary to pay for everyday expenses
  • Extra annual leave days between Christmas and New Year
  • Excellent professional development and regular clinical supervision
What We're Looking For
  • Registration with the Australian Government Attorney General's Department Register of Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners is essential
  • A tertiary background in Law, Social Sciences, Social work, or Mediation/Dispute Resolution
  • Demonstrated high level skills in family dispute resolution, including assessments and mediation interventions
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a child focused approach
  • Strong understanding of relationship dynamics, domestic and family violence, child safety, trauma informed practice, diversity awareness and mental health and wellbeing
