Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Support Specialist to join our team at Directions Recruitment Specialists. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our Sales team in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare internal costing spreadsheets and produce quotations to support sales efforts.
  • Enter orders, manage image requests, and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with Sales Account Managers to gather and analyze sales data, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain product specifications, customer forms, and online trading content.
  • Coordinate with customers and National Account Managers to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Participate in meetings with customers and Sales teams to discuss sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Support trade show involvement and Direct Despatch initiatives as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of office experience with a proven track record of supporting sales teams.
  • Excellent computer skills, including advanced Excel skills and experience with VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Bonus: proficiency in French is a plus, but not required.
