Job Opportunity: Head of Financial Reporting

Forge Talent is currently engaged with a well-established business in the financial sector who are seeking a highly skilled Head of Financial Reporting to join their team. The role will be a long-term engagement and is based on a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 6 people, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of financial reporting tasks.
  • Oversee the preparation of full financial statements under UK GAAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with Statutory audits, working closely with the finance and FP&A teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Liaise with auditors, providing timely and accurate information to support the audit process.
  • Prepare group half and full year financial statements, ensuring timely submission to stakeholders.
  • Group consolidation and reporting for 10+ global entities, requiring strong analytical and technical skills.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experienced interim finance professional with a strong background in financial reporting.
  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent) with a deep understanding of UK GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • A driven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiastic and keen to drive own development in line with the aims of the project and the business.
  • Worked in a similar role previously, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality financial reporting.
  • Technically astute, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.

Compensation: The Head of Financial Reporting role is paying up to £90,000 for the right candidate.
