Job Overview

This position involves key contributions to the design and enhancement of products, solutions, and systems within the mechanical engineering domain. The role includes responsibilities related to the technical advancement of existing components, impacting both personal and team quality of work. Standard operational and technical tasks will be executed under established guidelines, with some flexibility in task sequencing based on evolving work conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties
  • Conduct the design, analysis, or assessment of assigned projects by applying sound engineering principles while adhering to established business standards, practices, and product requirements. This encompasses both mechanical and electrical engineering for various products.
  • Expand knowledge within the technical discipline to effectively implement policies and strategies. This may involve support roles that require specialized technical expertise while still developing higher-level skills.
  • Possess a foundational understanding of key business drivers and utilize this knowledge to fulfill personal work objectives. Understand how the work of the team integrates with other departments and contributes to the overall area.
  • Exercise some degree of autonomy in decision-making within a defined framework. Address issues that necessitate solid technical knowledge and judgment, consulting with senior team members for matters beyond established guidelines.
  • This role necessitates strong interpersonal skills and may involve leading a junior team. For roles with customer interaction, develop robust customer relationships and act as the liaison between the customer and the organization, effectively communicating technical information.
Qualifications Required
  • A foundational level of experience in Engineering/Technology & Mechanical Components is required. This knowledge is typically equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
