Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Mitie. As a key member of our high-tech facility maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing a multi-skilled maintenance service, covering electrical and mechanical disciplines.

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking maintenance and reactive activity to a wide range of Electrical Building Services equipment, including LV systems, general lighting, building controls, small power and distribution, BMS systems, and other equipment found in modern commercial/industrial premises.

You will be responsible for managing your own day-to-day activities, including the management of specialist subcontractors while they are on site. This will involve undertaking weekend/out of hours working to complete intrusive maintenance activities that cannot be undertaken in client operating hours.

We are looking for:

  1. A strong background in electrical installation/maintenance, with a minimum of NVQ3 or equivalent.
  2. IOSH Passport or CSCS Card.
  3. At least 2 years of experience in electrical building services and plant engineering.
  4. The ability to pass SC security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide a multi-skilled maintenance service, covering electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  2. Undertake maintenance and reactive activity to a wide range of Electrical Building Services equipment.
  3. Manage specialist subcontractors while they are on site.
  4. Undertake weekend/out of hours working to complete intrusive maintenance activities.
