Electrical Working Supervisor Job Description

A great opportunity has become available for a reliable and skilled Electrical Working Supervisor to join a dynamic regional company recognised for developing and training its staff to succeed in their roles. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £43,000 and excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities as our Electrical Working Supervisor will include:
  1. Validate and sign off electrical certification using the NICEIC certification program
  2. Ensure all electrical work is carried out to the latest IEE wiring regulations and associated British Standards
  3. Electrical test and inspection
  4. Reactive repairs and fault finding
  5. Full electrical rewiring
  6. Electrical installation to kitchens and bathrooms
  7. Electrical installation of commercial heating system
  8. Ensure all electrical certification is completed as required at the end of each job and sent to the NICEIC electrical certification program
  9. Ensure all electricians are using safe isolation procedures, all equipment is to GS38 guidance document for electrical test equipment and maintained in excellent condition
  10. Diagnose and rectify faults within core field of expertise
  11. Ensure that the quality of work always meets the highest possible standards
  12. Support all trades to deliver a professional and safe maintenance and repairs service
  13. Respond swiftly to all emergency situations and resolve them efficiently
  14. Be an inclusive part of the team and be part of an on-call rota (Out of Hours)
What we are looking for in our Electrical Working Supervisor:
  1. NVQ level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent (Essential)
  2. C&G 2391 or equivalent in Inspecting and Testing (Essential)
  3. 18th edition (Essential)
  4. CSCS card would be an advantage
  5. AM2 qualifications (Essential)
  6. Full current driving license
  7. Over 3 years trade experience in the building maintenance industry
  8. Ideally 2 years with supervisory experience of some degree
