We are excited to present a remarkable opportunity for a Lead Econometrician with expertise in Market Mix Modelling (MMM) to join our innovative team at William Hill. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting advanced marketing intelligence solutions that propel business success.

Our dedicated team focuses on extracting valuable insights through Market Mix Modelling (MMM) to enhance various marketing strategies. As the Lead Econometrician, you will be pivotal in streamlining data collection, processing, and reporting, ensuring a steady flow of actionable insights.

Collaborating with a talented group of mathematicians, statisticians, and economists, you will develop econometric models that guide decision-making across marketing, finance, and compliance sectors. Effective collaboration with other teams is crucial to achieving impactful results and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute innovative MMM solutions, overseeing and managing econometric models for a variety of brands and markets.
  • Ensure timely project delivery while meeting all critical objectives, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Lead the internal MMM team, nurturing a culture of excellence and supporting the professional growth of team members.
  • Enhance marketing efficiency through optimization and scenario planning, contributing to the refinement of strategies.
  • Participate in the creation of marketing optimization tools, interactive dashboards, and process automation to elevate our econometric capabilities.

Desired Profile:

  • Proven experience in a media agency, consultancy, or a related field, paired with a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science.
  • Expertise in Python or R, SQL, and advanced Excel for modeling, data processing, and analysis.
  • Demonstrated leadership in econometric initiatives, with the capacity to mentor junior team members and engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of media planning and the influence of MMM on marketing effectiveness, complemented by strong communication and analytical skills.
