Position Overview

We are pleased to announce a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual to become part of our catering team. This role offers a permanent full-time contract with a variety of shifts available throughout the week, ensuring flexibility and a balanced work-life schedule.

Work Schedule

The position requires availability for shifts between 6am and 6pm, covering all days of the week.

Key Responsibilities

As a working supervisor, you will oversee a team within a dynamic Catering Department that delivers food services to patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and guiding team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assisting with food preparation, packaging, cooking, and food service.
  • Managing food regeneration processes and ensuring quality service delivery.
  • Completing staff rotas and handling financial transactions as necessary.
  • Delivering meals efficiently and maintaining high standards of service.

Required Experience

Candidates must possess supervisory experience within the catering sector. Experience in a healthcare catering setting is advantageous.

A minimum of Food Safety Level 2 certification is required, while Level 3 certification is preferred.

Additional Information

Please be aware that successful candidates will be expected to work in a cold storage environment.

Qualifications

Essential

  • A recognized catering qualification, such as NVQ Levels 1 and 2, with a commitment to achieving NVQ Level 3 supervisory qualification.
  • Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate.

Desirable

  • Health and Safety Qualification.
