About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional to join our team as a Deaf Instructor. As a key member of our Teacher of the Deaf Team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist BSL support for children and young people who require sign language provision.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with deaf children and young people to develop their communication skills through BSL
- Collaborate with families and educational settings to provide training, advice, and resources on deaf awareness and sign language
- Develop and implement effective BSL support plans to meet the needs of deaf children and young people
- Contribute to the development of our BSL provision and services
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of a Level 3 BSL qualification and experience of working with children and young people who are deaf. You will also need to be able to work effectively with families and educational settings to provide BSL support and training.
