About the Role
Achieving for Children is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional to join our team as a Deaf Instructor. The successful candidate will work closely with the Teacher of the Deaf Team to provide specialist BSL support for children and young people who require sign language provision.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the knowledge and skills of families of deaf children and young people who require sign language as the primary mode of communication.
- Work with families and educational settings to provide training, advice, and resources about deaf awareness and the use of sign language where appropriate.
- Hold a minimum of a Level 3 BSL qualification and have experience of working with children and young people who are deaf.
