Senior Credit Risk Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our Financial Services team. As a key member of our Credit Risk team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of our lending strategy and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our financial services offering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake complex ad-hoc analysis to provide conclusions and recommendations to support the Credit Risk team
  • Support the planning, testing, and implementation of strategy changes within the credit risk decision engine
  • Develop and maintain new monitoring and produce regular MI, including insight into these reports for senior management
  • Monitor the group's lending strategies and risk decision systems to ensure they are working as expected
  • Represent the Credit Risk team across cross-functional projects
  • Produce the Financial Services key metrics and Credit Risk Key Risk Indicators and analyze how changes in these can affect N Brown's performance
Requirements:
  • Highly analytical with strong technical skills
  • Degree-level educated, ideally in a numerate discipline
  • Previous experience of working as an analyst in a Credit Risk team
  • Self-motivated and reliable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Accurate with a high attention to detail
  • Logical thinker
  • Advanced SQL and/or SAS skills are essential
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
