Job Title: Account Manager

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week

Salary: £35,000 - £47,500 and up to 20% bonus, car allowance of £600 per month and other benefits listed below

Location: Leicester / Northampton / Peterborough

The primary objective of this role is to establish and maintain strong relationships with used car dealers and brokers. This involves attending face-to-face appointments and engaging in telephone/email negotiations to offer competitive finance terms to used car dealers and brokers. The role requires ensuring individual targets are met and adhering to company policies.

As an Account Manager at Tandem, your focus will be on:

  • Developing new used car dealer/broker relationships within your geographical area.
  • Managing existing used car dealers and brokers to ensure they meet their sales and efficiency targets.
  • Attending face-to-face meetings and telephone/email negotiations to offer competitive finance facilities to used car dealers and brokers.
  • Providing excellent customer service.
  • Attending 121's and team meetings in any of our office locations (typically held in Cardiff).
  • Utilizing effective communication styles and methods to interact with used car dealers, brokers, and third parties.
  • Being prepared to take accountability for your own performance.
  • Exhibiting excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Researching, digesting, analysing, and presenting material clearly and concisely to senior management and director level.
  • Displaying flexibility and adaptability to a wide variety of tasks and being prepared to work extra hours where required to meet deadlines and deal with client queries.
  • Having a good understanding of the digital marketplace that exists within the motor finance industry.
  • Having an understanding of the regulatory environment that exists within the motor industry.
