Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Bridgnorth. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for investigating equipment failures, recommending and implementing improvements, and participating in regular reviews with the Engineering & Manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate equipment failures and recommend improvements
  • Participate in regular reviews with the Engineering & Manufacturing team
  • Carry out plant/equipment installation in line with Planned Preventative Maintenance
  • Provide minimal downtime to production
  • Install and set up new areas within production as required
  • Attend maintenance meetings
  • Focus on continuous improvement
  • Maintain a high level of health and safety
  • Work in team situations to resolve any issues
  • Carry out mechanical and electrical tasks
Requirements:
  • Previous experience within a similar role - essential
  • Knowledge of pneumatics/hydraulics
  • Able to read mechanical and electrical diagrams
  • Experienced in Planned Preventative Maintenance
  • Fabrication/welding skills
  • PLC experience
  • Multi-skilled, ideally (60/40) mechanical/electrical
What We Offer:
  • Starting salary range will depend on experience - £28,704 + 25% SA = £35,880 / £37,913.50
  • 4 shifts per week, 3 day weekend every week 6pm - 6am Monday to Thursday - 46 hours per week
