Recruit4staff is proud to represent a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Maintenance Technician to work in their Bridgnorth facility.

The successful candidate will be offered:

The role of Maintenance Technician involves:

  • Investigating equipment failures and recommending improvements
  • Participating in regular reviews with the Engineering & Manufacturing team
  • Carrying out plant and equipment installation in line with Planned Preventative Maintenance
  • Providing minimal downtime to production
  • Installing and setting up new areas within production as required
  • Attending maintenance meetings and focusing on continuous improvement
  • Maintaining a high level of health and safety
  • Working in team situations to resolve any issues
  • Carrying out mechanical and electrical tasks

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Able to read mechanical and electrical diagrams
  • Experience in Planned Preventative Maintenance
  • PLC experience is preferred, but not essential
  • Be multi-skilled, with a strong mechanical and electrical background

Key skills or similar job titles include Shift Engineer, Factory Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Electrically Biased, Electrical Engineer, and Multi-Skilled Maintenance.
