Trainer and Technical Support (Electrical) Package Overview:

* Salary £25,000 - £35,000 Per Annum (Negotiable, Depending on Experience)

* Full-Time, Permanent - Hours of Work (8:00am - 5:00pm)

* Office Based

* Shropshire – Office is commutable from Bridgnorth, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Telford, Kidderminster, Wombourne & Stourbridge

* Some electrical knowledge and experience are required

Company Overview - Trainer and Technical Support (Electrical)

This is a dynamic and varied role within a small, yet highly successful team based in Shropshire. The primary responsibility will be delivering face-to-face training on Auto Door products to customers and engineers, while also providing technical support. As part of a close-knit team, you’ll need to be flexible, assisting with warehouse tasks and testing faulty returns when needed.

We’re looking for someone who is eager to join a friendly and supportive team environment, and who is happy to contribute across all areas of the business. The ideal candidate will be confident, personable, and enthusiastic about providing excellent service to both customers and colleagues.

Trainer and Technical Support (Electrical) Role and Responsibilities:

* Telephone or videocall technical support to engineers on site who are struggling with a repair or installation

* Deliver face to face training on Auto Door products to customers and engineers

* Testing returns of possible faulty goods returned by customers

* Pick stock to fill incoming sales orders, using sales admin generated paperwork and worksheets

* Packing goods for shipping using packing standard

* Assisting with loading of goods onto transport company vehicles

* Unloading incoming goods

* Use of double headed CNC saw for cutting headers and subcomponents

* Assembly / build-up of Sliding Auto Door Units

* Sub assembly of components i.e. key-switches, transmitters and receivers

* Collation of components into finished product form i.e. retrofit kits

* Packing goods received onto warehouse shelving using correct rotation of stock

* Quality checks

Trainer and Technical Support (Electrical) Skills and Experience:

* Some electrical knowledge and experience are required

* Confident communicator with strong presentation abilities

* Flexible with a hands-on approach

* Experience in the Auto Door industry would be desirable but not essential
