Job Title: Policy Fraud Lead Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Policy Fraud Lead Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our fraud prevention team, you will be responsible for driving counter fraud performance through detection and prevention at various stages of the policy lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain counter fraud rules in our proprietary systems, ensuring optimal performance and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with our IT and development teams to identify and resolve errors within our counter fraud platforms.
  • Utilize advanced data analysis tools, such as SQL, Excel, and Power BI, to report on policy fraud strategic and operational performance.
  • Work closely with our pricing team to understand and find solutions to fraud and its impact on loss ratios.
  • Contribute to the promotion of data integrity across the business, ensuring accurate and reliable information.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies regarding Financial Crime, TCF, GDPR, and FCA regulations.
  • Maintain and extend professional relationships with intelligence suppliers, professional bodies, and law enforcement agencies.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience working with rule-based counter fraud systems.
  • Proven track record of building and optimizing policy fraud rule sets.
  • Exposure to organized fraud and application fraud risk and investigations.
  • Experience working with SQL, Excel, and/or Power BI.
  • Demonstrable understanding of compliance legislation within the financial services sector.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to consistently deliver against timescales and deadlines.
