Lead Fraud Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Fraud Analyst to join our Policy Fraud team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving counter fraud performance through detection and prevention at various stages of the insurance process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain counter fraud rules in SIRA, Iovation, and other counter fraud platforms.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to identify gaps and resolve errors within counter fraud platforms.
  • Report on policy fraud strategic and operational performance using SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Work with pricing to understand and find solutions to fraud and its impact on loss ratios.
  • Collaborate with wider business areas to understand and report on fraud risk.
  • Assist in promoting data integrity across the business.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies regarding Financial Crime, TCF, GDPR, and FCA regulations.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience working with rule-based counter fraud systems.
  • Experience building and optimising policy fraud rule sets.
  • Exposure to organised fraud and application fraud risk and investigations.
  • Experience working with SQL, Excel, and/or Power BI.
  • Demonstrable understanding of compliance legislation within the financial services sector.
  • Good time management and organisation skills.
