About the Role:

BH Live is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Charter Community Sports Centre. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the centre, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the centre's operations, ensuring compliance with BH Live's policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage and maintain the centre's facilities, equipment, and resources, ensuring they are in good working order and meet the needs of our customers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Monitor and control centre budgets, ensuring effective financial management and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and external partners.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a leisure or sports environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • First aid at work qualification and NPLQ certificate (training can be offered on appointment).
