Join Our Team:
We are seeking dedicated and customer-oriented individuals to join us as a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for upholding safety standards, ensuring timely preventative maintenance, and enhancing equipment availability through ongoing improvements.


Shift Information:
This position may require working non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote health and safety best practices and ensure compliance among team members.
  • Engage in hands-on work while demonstrating expert knowledge of all Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
  • Mentor and guide technicians during shifts.
  • Assist the line manager and oversee the shift in their absence.
  • Ensure high equipment availability for internal customers through effective troubleshooting and prioritization.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems across the EU network.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Understand Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and performance metrics.
  • Manage contractor activities effectively.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficient in both electrical and mechanical disciplines with relevant experience in automation or complex MHE settings.
  • Possess qualifications such as 5 GCSEs, NVQ Level 3, ONC/D, or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of PLC-based control systems.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for proactive maintenance planning and reactive task recording.
  • Familiarity with statutory compliance requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and influence team members.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workloads.
  • Experience in managing multiple contractors.
  • Background in a multi-site operational environment.
  • Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, BSc, or BEng qualifications are advantageous.
