Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Recra Consulting. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Planned and Unplanned Maintenance: Provide support to the engineering team to carry out planned and unplanned maintenance tasks on all equipment on site.
  • Support the Engineering Team: Assist the engineering team in closing out corrective actions in a timely manner and provide guidance on Health and Safety protocols.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate good Health and Safety practices and provide guidance to visitors and contractors while working in a safe environment.
  • Deputise for the Engineering Manager: Take on responsibilities of the Engineering Manager in their absence.
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance: Support the team in carrying out daily Planned Preventative Maintenance actions.
  • Support Site Engineering Teams: Assist the site engineering teams to ensure the operation and maintenance of all machinery, equipment, and engineering facilities are working effectively and to a high standard.
  • Attend Call Outs: Attend call outs to departments for any unplanned breakdowns and record all downtime.
  • Update Maintain-X System: Update the Maintain-X system with all jobs.
  • Analyse Departmental Needs: Analyse departmental needs and develop effective solutions to support the business.
  • Support Department with Project Work: Support the department with any project work to help implement business objectives.
  • Explore and Propose Solutions: Explore and propose solutions to maintenance issues to the lead engineer.
  • Update Records: Update records as and where required for the engineering department.
Shift Pattern and Job Details

The successful candidate will work a 3 On & 2 Off pattern, 6am-6pm, with a salary of £22.71 per hour. This is a full-time position within the Engineering department.
